1960s. Isadora is a lonely and eccentric woman obsessed with her own image. That is because right from the time she was a child, her mother taught her how important it is to be beautiful and elegant.
After a scar on her face ruined this beauty ideal, she is afraid of not being accepted anymore, so now she never leaves her house. Who is she without this powerful attribute?
What she truly needs is a friend who is able to see her inner beauty, those little things that make her unique. Every morning she leaves a yellow daffodil inside an empty milk bottle on the doorstep for Leslie, the milkman, to pick it up.
Until one day, when she finally catches his attention.
